February 12, 2022: Haines, AK 99827 The Haines Glacier Bears (Haines, AK) basketball nipped the visiting Effie Kokrine Charter Warriors (Fairbanks, AK), 47-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Glacier Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Minto (Minto, AK). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Minto was tipped by Maudrey J Sommer (Tanana, AK), 70-61, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nenana for a 2A Interior test on Tuesday, February 15. Effie Kokrine Charter will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to Unalaska (Unalaska, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 3-8.
