Missouri High School Basketball - Mound City ripped by Lafayette County
February 12, 2022: Higginsville, MO 64037 The Lafayette County Huskers basketball team scored 103 points and held the visiting Mound City Panthers to 56 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskers now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a Missouri River Valley - East contest on Tuesday, February 15. Lafayette County will meet a Spartans team coming off a 57-38 league win over Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 14-1.
The Panthers (23-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, North Andrew triumphed over Gallatin (Gallatin, MO), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
