New Jersey High School Basketball - Sussex County Tech nips Manville
February 12, 2022: Sparta, NJ 07871 Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Manville Mustangs (Manville, NJ), 42-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sussex County Tech upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The travel to Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ) to play the Cougars in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-8.
Next up, the Mustangs play the North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Manville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Canucks go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 62-48 non-league loss to New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ).
