West Virginia High School Basketball - South Gallia holds off Point Pleasant

February 12, 2022: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) and the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw South Gallia's basketball squad hold off Point Pleasant by a tally of 47-43.

With the victory, South Gallia improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Miller (Corning, OH) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-16. Miller lost 70-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Waterford (Waterford, OH)

Next up, the Big Blacks confront the Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Point Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The White Falcons come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 58-35 league win over Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV).
