New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee thwarts Haddon Heights
February 12, 2022: Marlton, NJ 08053 The Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ), 35-20 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Lenape (Medford, NJ). The Indians go into the Olympic - American test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Lenape notched a victory over Eastern (Voorhees, NJ), 47-42, in a league test.
The Garnets now own a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Haddonfield for a Colonial test on Tuesday, February 15. Haddon Heights will encounter a Bulldawgs squad coming off a 27-19 non-league loss to Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 10-8.
