Illinois High School Basketball - Aurora Christian tops Lutheran
February 12, 2024: Aurora, IL 60506 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), saw Aurora Christian's basketball squad knock off Lutheran by a count of 67-50.
With the victory, Aurora Christian upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Newark (Newark, IL) to play the Norsemen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 11-17. Newark won 55-27 in their recent league challenge against LaMoille (LaMoille, IL)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) in a Big Northern challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 19-10 season record. The Royal Lions come into the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 80-65 non-league loss to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL).
