February 12, 2024: Benson, MN 56215 Benson (Benson, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN), 93-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Benson upgrades its record to 11-13 on the season. The travel to Melrose (Melrose, MN) to play the Dutchmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Melrose won 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Litchfield (Litchfield, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Willmar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 64-57 non-league loss to Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN).
