The Bowie (MD) varsity basketball team lost Monday's home non-conference game against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD) by a score of 61-56.
The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Bowie Bulldogs to 56 in the non-league triumph on Monday.
The now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Tuesday, February 13. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will battle a Falcons team coming off a 66-62 league loss to Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 6-12.
The Bulldogs (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Wildcats enter the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Northwestern nudged Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD), 55-48, in a league contest.
