Missouri High School Basketball - King City knocked off by Savannah
February 12, 2024: Savannah, MO 64485 The Savannah Savages basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting King City Wildkats to 63 in the Savages non-league triumph on Monday.
The Savages now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton for a Midland Empire contest on Tuesday, February 13. Savannah will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Center (Kansas City, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-4.
The Wildkats (5-22) will now prepare for their contest against North Nodaway (Hopkins, MO). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, North Nodaway was outscored by South Holt (Oregon, MO), 57-49, in a league contest.
