Indiana High School Basketball - Floyd Central nips Meade County
February 12, 2024: Floyds Knobs, IN 47119 Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 40-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Highlanders host Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Jennings County lost 23-19 in their recent non-league bout against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
Next up, the Green Waves play the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Meade County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
