February 12, 2024: Westover, MD 21871 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) and the host Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD), saw Laurel's basketball squad knock off Holly Grove Christian by a count of 49-39.
With the victory, Laurel upgrades its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to play the Spartans in a Henlopen - Southern challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Lake Forest lost 59-45 in their recent league challenge against Seaford (Seaford, DE)
Next up, the play the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Holly Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 40-27 league win over Laurel (Laurel, DE).
