Maryland High School Basketball - Meade fells Southern
February 12, 2024: Harwood, MD 20776 Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 52-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Meade upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to play the Patriots in a bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Old Mill won 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Southern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 59-29 non-league loss to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD).
