Idaho High School Basketball - Kootenai trounced by Deary
February 12, 2025: Harrison, ID 83833 Deary Mustangs (Deary, ID) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Kootenai Warriors (Harrison, ID), 72-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Deary advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Mustangs host Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID) to battle the Rams in a 1A Whitepine contest on Friday, February 14. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 11-6. Clearwater Valley lost 71-24 in their recent non-league contest against Kamiah (Kamiah, ID)
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Coeur du Christ Academy Saints (Coeur d'Alene, ID) in a 1A North Star contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Kootenai will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 76-71 non-league loss to Genesis Prep Academy (Post Falls, ID).
