West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), 61-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Seneca East upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Newfane (Newfane, NY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-0.

The Griffins now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklinville for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. Griffith Institute will face a Panthers squad coming off a 49-45 league win over Forestville Central (Forestville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
