New York High School Basketball - Le Roy thwarts Mount Morris
February 12, 2025: Le Roy, NY 14482 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) and the visiting Mount Morris Blue Devils (Mount Morris, NY), observed Le Roy's basketball team knock off Mount Morris by a score of 55-46.
The Oatkan Knights (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Geneseo (Geneseo, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 5 Livingston 2 challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Geneseo prevailed over Letchworth (Gainesville, NY), 50-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Perry Yellowjackets (Perry, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston 3 challenge, on Friday, February 14. Mount Morris will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 76-38 non-league loss to York (Retsof, NY).
