In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Lake Howell Silverhawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-11 triumph over the The First Academy Royals.

The Silverhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hagerty (Oviedo, FL). The Huskies go into the 2A D6 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hagerty held off Winter Park (Winter Park, FL), 17-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Royals meet the Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. The First Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL).
