The Danbury Hatters basketball squad (Danbury, CT), was crushed 75-40 in Thursday's league battle with the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT)

With the victory, Staples advances its record to 17-0 on the year. The Wreckers travel to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to meet the Cadets in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, February 17. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. St. Joseph won 66-65 in their recent league challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)

In their next game, the Hatters battle the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Tuesday, February 17. Danbury will attempt to advance on its 2-16 season record.
