In Thursday's non-league test, the Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX), by a margin of 7-1.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league outing on Friday, February 13. Ingleside will encounter a Aztecs team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-0.
