The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) and the visiting Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX), observed Cinco Ranch's softball squad nip Carroll by a score of 6-5.

With the triumph, Cinco Ranch improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cougars host Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, February 13. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Magnolia West won 11-6 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX)

The Tigers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, February 13. Carroll will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
