The East Chambers Buccaneers softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Sam Rayburn Texans to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Thursday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Caney for a non-league battle on Friday, February 13. East Chambers will confront a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over King (Houston, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Sam Rayburn drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Lee (Baytown, TX) to meet the Ganders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 13. The Ganders go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lee won 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX)
