The Memorial Mustangs softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Spring Lions to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Falls for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 12. Memorial will meet a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.

The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Atascocita held off Cesar E. Chavez (Houston, TX), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
