Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Pine Tree moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Allen (Allen, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, February 13. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Allen lost 15-11 in their recent non-league battle against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX)

With the loss, Rowlett moves to 0-1 on the season. The Eagles host Royse City (Royse City, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-0. Royse City won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilson (Dallas, TX)
