Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mellen thwarts Johnston
February 13, 2023: Mellen, WI 54546 The Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Johnston Speedboys (Bessemer, MI), 65-46 in Monday's non-league test.
The Granite Diggers (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Bayfield (Bayfield, WI). The Trollers go into the Indianhead test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Bayfield notched a victory over Luck (Luck, WI), 70-57, in a non-league test.
The Speedboys now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Wright for a Freelance test on Tuesday, February 14.
