February 13, 2023: Glasford, IL 61533 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) and the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), saw Illini Bluffs's basketball squad wallop Illini Central by a tally of 69-36.
With the victory, Illini Bluffs improves its record to 26-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Tomahawk challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 9-19. Mt. Pulaski lost 68-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Illini Central will attempt to improve on its 10-18 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 22-6 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, IL).
