Minnesota High School Basketball - Pine River-Backus overwhelmed by Crosby-Ironton
February 13, 2023: Pine River, MN 56474 The Crosby-Ironton Rangers basketball team scored 93 points and restricted the host Pine River-Backus Tigers to 41 in the Rangers non-league victory on Monday.
The Rangers now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Rapids for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. Crosby-Ironton will battle a Panthers team coming off a 83-38 non-league win over Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN). The Wolves come into the A Section 5 contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley triumphed over Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN), 62-44, in a non-league contest.
