South Dakota High School Basketball - Howard crushes Mitchell Christian
February 13, 2023: Mitchell, SD 57301 Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles (Mitchell, SD), 57-17 in a league bout.
With the win, Howard upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Viborg/Hurley won 68-32 in their recent league bout against Menno (Menno, SD)
Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) in a B Region 3 bout, on Thursday, February 16. Mitchell Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 70-46 non-league loss to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
