Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeview overwhelms Walkerville
February 13, 2023: Lakeview, MI 48850 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI) and the visiting Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI), saw Lakeview's basketball squad wallop Walkerville by a tally of 53-6.
With the victory, Lakeview improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to confront the Warriors in a Central State challenge on Friday, February 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Chippewa Hills lost 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Louis (St. Louis, MI)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Catholic Central Sabers (Manistee, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Walkerville will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Sabers come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 45-25 league win over Pentwater (Pentwater, MI).
