In Monday's non-league contest, the Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), by a margin of 17-2.

With the triumph, Ball moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Fort Bend Austin lost 9-4 in their recent league contest against Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX)

In their next game, the Generals play the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 16. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hurricanes come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 13-3 league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX).
