The Borden County Coyotes basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Aspermont Hornets to 31 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loop for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Borden County will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 55-51 league loss to Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-7.

The Hornets (18-12) will now prepare for their contest against Electra (Electra, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 27-5 record. In their last contest, Electra edged Crowell (Crowell, TX), 60-50, in a league contest.
