Ohio High School Basketball - Avon Lake tipped by Buckeye
February 13, 2024: Avon Lake, OH 44012 The Buckeye Bucks basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Avon Lake Shoremen to 54 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bucks now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elyria Catholic for a Great Lakes contest on Wednesday, February 14. Buckeye will meet a Panthers team coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 7-11.
The Shoremen (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Rangers enter the Southwestern contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, North Ridgeville nudged Nordonia (Macedonia, OH), 67-50, in a non-league contest.
