Michigan High School Basketball - New Haven can't hold off Chippewa Valley
February 13, 2024: New Haven, MI 48048 The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team scored 57 points and held the host New Haven Rockets to 54 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Big Reds now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utica Eisenhower for a Macomb Area - Red contest on Friday, February 16. Chippewa Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-68 non-league loss to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.
The Rockets (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, L'Anse Creuse North nudged Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI), 69-68, in a non-league contest.
