Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston overwhelms Maine West
February 13, 2024: Des Plaines, IL 60018 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the host Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), saw Evanston's basketball squad wallop Maine West by a tally of 54-32.
With the victory, Evanston improves its record to 20-10 on the campaign. The Wildkits travel to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-17. Maine South lost 62-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Niles West (Skokie, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Senn Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Maine West will attempt to improve on its 4-24 season record.
