Kansas High School Basketball - Halstead nips Lyons
February 13, 2024: Halstead, KS 67056 Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS), 62-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Halstead upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Dragons host Haven (Haven, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Haven won 45-38 in their recent non-league bout against Hesston (Hesston, KS)
Next up, the Lions play the Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Lyons will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to Pratt (Pratt, KS).
