The Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) basketball crushed the host Oberlin The Phoenix (Oberlin, OH), 73-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Demons go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record.

The The Phoenix now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a Lorain County 8 test on Friday, February 16. Oberlin will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 82-59 non-league win over Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 11-7.
