South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN), 64-26 in a league bout.

With the win, South Knox upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Spartans travel to Washington (Washington, IN) to play the Hatchets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Hatchets go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Washington won 49-47 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Friday, February 16. Vincennes Rivet will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 53-34 league win over Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN).
