South Dakota High School Basketball - Britton-Hecla knocked off by Hamlin
February 13, 2024: Hayti, SD 57241 The Hamlin Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves to 36 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark/Willow Lake for a A Region 2 contest on Thursday, February 15. Hamlin will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 62-33 non-league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Cyclones record now stands at 8-11.
The Braves (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Groton (Groton, SD). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Groton was defeated by Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD), 49-36, in a non-league contest.
