Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasanton overwhelmed by Hume
February 13, 2024: Pleasanton, KS 66075 The Hume Hornets basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Pleasanton Blu-Jays to 27 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingsville for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Hume will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-27 non-league win over La Monte (La Monte, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 7-17.
The Blu-Jays (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bronaugh (Bronaugh, MO). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-20 record. In their last contest, Bronaugh was routed by McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
