Wisconsin High School Basketball - Rosholt can't hold off Iola-Scandinavia
February 13, 2024: Rosholt, WI 54473 The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Rosholt Hornets to 30 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-23 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonduel for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Thursday, February 15. Iola-Scandinavia will battle a Bears team coming off a 70-28 league win over Manawa (Manawa, WI). The Bears record now stands at 22-2.
The Hornets (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-County (Plainfield, WI). The Penguins come into the non-league contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Tri-County edged Port Edwards (Port Edwards, WI), 60-41, in a non-league contest.
