February 13, 2024: Espanola, NM 87532 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) and the visiting Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM), saw McCurdy's basketball squad wallop Santa Fe Prep by a tally of 52-18.
With the victory, McCurdy improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Mora (Mora, NM) to confront the Rangers/Rangerettes in a 2A District 5 challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Rangers/Rangerettes come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Mora lost 65-35 in their recent league challenge against Questa (Questa, NM)
Next up, the Blue Griffins confront the East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Santa Fe Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 52-22 league loss to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
