Maryland High School Basketball - Rockville tops Northwood
February 13, 2024: Rockville, MD 20851 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rockville Rams (Rockville, MD) and the visiting Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), saw Rockville's basketball squad knock off Northwood by a count of 57-39.
With the victory, Rockville upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to play the Falcons in a Montgomery County - 3A/2A challenge on Friday, February 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Poolesville won 37-35 in their recent league challenge against Magruder (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 51-29 non-league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
