Texas High School Softball - New Braunfels holds off Dripping Springs

New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Unicorns now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pieper for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. New Braunfels will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Blanco (Blanco, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Dripping Springs falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hays (Buda, TX) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hays won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Judson (Converse, TX)
