John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm (Alexandria, LA), 13-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, John Paul the Great Academy advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Guardians travel to Acadiana Christian (Lafayette, LA) to battle the Defenders in a ACEL match on Tuesday, February 18. The Defenders come into the match with a record of 1-0. Acadiana Christian won 9-6 in their recent league match against Acadiana Christian (New Iberia, LA)

The Storm now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Training Christian Academy for a ACEL match on Tuesday, February 18.
