The Tocoi Creek Toros baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Matanzas Pirates to 0 in the Toros non-league win on Thursday.

The Toros now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ's Church Academy for a non-league test on Friday, February 14. Tocoi Creek will play a Eagles team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Cedar Creek Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Matanzas drops to 0-3 on the year. The Pirates host Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, February 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-2. Trinity Christian Academy lost 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Mainland (Daytona Beach, FL)
