February 13, 2025: Shepherdsville, KY 40165 Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), 74-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bullitt Central upgrades its record to 7-19 on the year. The Cougars host Southern (Louisville, KY) to face the Trojans in a District 23 match on Friday, February 14. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 11-13. Southern won 68-51 in their recent non-league match against Washington County (Springfield, KY)
The Rockets now sport a 4-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oldham County for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Shelby County will face a Colonels squad coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 8-16.
