New York High School Basketball - Williamsville East holds off Olean
February 13, 2025: Olean, NY 14760 The Williamsville East Flames basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Olean Huskies to 48 in the Flames non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Flames now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsville North for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Williamsville East will confront a Spartans team coming off a 59-56 league loss to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Olean falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-3. Pioneer won 60-42 in their recent league match against West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY)
