February 13, 2025: South Weymouth, MA 02190 Salem Witches (Salem, MA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), 72-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Salem advances its record to 15-3 on the year. The Witches host Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 7-7. Wakefield Memorial lost 74-51 in their recent league match against Watertown (Watertown, MA)
The Wildcats now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton South for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Weymouth will meet a Lions squad coming off a 53-43 non-league win over Weston (Weston, MA). The Lions record now stands at 15-4.
