Virginia High School Basketball - Paul VI overwhelmed by Bishop McNamara
February 13, 2025: Chantilly, VA 22030 In Thursday's league test, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) basketball squad trounced the host Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA), by a score of 58-36.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic test, on Friday, February 14. Bishop McNamara will attempt to improve on its 21-1 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 23-2 record after their 68-67 league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD).
The Panthers (18-8) will now prepare for their test against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 21-10 record. In their last test, Riverdale Baptist was routed by Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 68-48, in a non-league test.
