Kentucky High School Basketball - Butler holds off Spencer County
February 13, 2025: Louisville, KY 40216 The Butler Bears basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Spencer County Bears to 72 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now possess a 18-10 record. They play next when they host Pleasure Ridge Park for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Butler will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-21 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, Spencer County falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, February 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 19-6. Elizabethtown lost 69-63 in their recent non-league game against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)
