The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) and the host Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL), observed DeSoto County's basketball team overwhelm Gulf by a score of 75-41.

The Bulldogs (20-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Tampa, FL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Robinson trounced Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL), 40-38, in a non-league challenge.
