February 13, 2025: Woodstock, CT 06281 Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Somers Spartans (Somers, CT), 59-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Woodstock Academy advances its record to 13-6 on the year. The Centaurs host Plainfield (Central Village, CT) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-6. Plainfield lost 50-41 in their recent league match against Montville (Oakdale, CT)
The Spartans now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Hill for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Somers will face a Terriers squad coming off a 61-28 league win over Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT). The Terriers record now stands at 15-4.
